What is Citizen Advocacy?
Citizen Advocacy is when responsible local citizens volunteer to be matched with, get to know and support a vulnerable adult* who may experience exclusion or unfair treatment and who needs help to voice their opinions, be active participants in the decisions made about their lives and become part of the local community.
Include Me's role is to create and support the development of Citizen Advocacy Partnerships
If you can spare a minimum of 2-3 hours per month and think you would like to become a Citizen Advocate and make a difference in the life of a vulnerable adult* living in North East Fife, please contact us.
*A vulnerable adult is someone aged 16-60 who is affected by; Learning Disability, Physical Disability, Mental Health issues, Chronic Illness, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dementia, Personality Disorder or Acquired Brain Injury.
